Newspaper Advisor: Mrs. Delfiacco
Editor in Chief: Alex Mickler
Alex has been a member of the Banner staff for three years and is very excited to be an Editor in Chief this year. She also writes for the community magazine, Wekiva Springs Life, and is the President of the Environmental Club, a member of the Leadership class, and a Varsity golfer. She is ranked at the top of her class and plans to attend college and eventually pursue medicine with a minor in journalism.
Copy Editor/Opinions Editor: Ashton Marshall
Ashton is currently a senior at Lake Brantley and this is her third year on staff. She is an active member of the Link Crew program, Beta Club, and National Honor Society. Outside of school, Ashton is a dancer, runner, piano player, and enjoys spending time with her friends and family. In the future, Ashton hopes to pursue a career in either aerospace engineering or pediatric psychiatry.
Features Editor: Sarah Chrisien
This is Sarah's second year on the Banner staff. She is a junior and is involved in Band, NHS, and Key Club. Her interests include journalism and film, and in her free time she enjoys going out with friends, watching CSI, and reading. In the future, she would like to attend the University of Florida to study journalism or psychology.
Ads Manager: Victoria Miller
Victoria is a senior at Lake Brantley and this is her first year on staff. At school, she is on the Varsity dance team and a member of the National Art Honor Society. Outside of school, she enjoys playing tennis, riding horses, and spending time with family and friends. Her future plans include attending college in hopes of becoming a marine biologist.

This is Jesse's first year photographing for the Banner. He is a member of the football, weightlifting, and wrestling teams. In his free time, he likes to spend time with friends, cook, and watch UFC.
Staff Writers:Christine Anez
This is Christine's first year on the Banner staff. She is a sophomore at Brantley, on the Varsity tennis team, and is involved in various clubs. She is ranked in the top 25 in her class and hopes to someday become an architect or a lawyer.
Erica Clements
Erica is a sophomore and is very excited for her first year writing for the Banner. Erica is very active in the chorus program and drama department. She plans on going to college to become a psychiatrist.
Brianna Garcia
Brianna is a sophomore and this is her first year on the newspaper staff. She is on the Varsity soccer team and is involved with multiple clubs. Her future plans include graduating high school, going to college, and eventually becoming a dermatologist.
Megan Hossler
This is Megan's first year on the Banner. She's a sophomore and plays on the JV softball team. Her hobbies include volleyball, writing, and reading. Music is her life and she can't live without it. Megan hopes to use her writing skills in the future as a special education teacher.
Greg Lenaz
Greg is a sophomore and this is his first year writing for the Banner. He primarily focuses on his academics and maintains a 4.0 GPA. Outside of school, he listens to music, plays video games, and is a rollercoaster enthusiast. He also has a deep interest in politics as a liberal Democrat.
Darian McCullough
Darian McCullough aspires to bring his winning character, witty disposition, and generally charismatic nature to the Banner staff. Darian enjoys volleyball, emulating Ray Charles, and academics. His future goals include corporate law and to exude awesomeness.
Mackenzie Miller
This is Mackenzie's first year on the Banner. She is a member of the Lake Brantley Band as a flutist and participates in Key Club. Mackenzie enjoys reading, watching "House", and being an avid Harry Potter fan. She aspires to major in engineering with a minor in music, as well as continue writing.
| Editor in Chief: Jamie Lower
This is Jamie's third year on staff, and she is thrilled to be an Editor in Chief. She is a senior, involved in various honor societies such as NHS, is a Varsity cheerleader, President of the Computer Science and Robotics Club, a member of the Leadership class, and will graduate at the top of her class. She has been playing the piano for 11 years and is a self-proclaimed shop-a- holic.
News Editor: Lauren Killer
Lauren is delighted to be returning for her second year on the Banner staff as News Editor. When not devoting her time to writing, she participates in theater, chorus, various honor societies, and a rigorous academic schedule. She enjoys Freddie Mercury, vegetarianism, and dancing in public.
Sports Editor: Ryan Summers
Ryan is a junior at Lake Brantley and this is his second year writing for the Banner. Ryan is a member of the volleyball team. He is also involved with National Honor Society, Link Crew, and is the Secretary of the Interact Club. In the future, Ryan plans to pursue sports journalism and eventually work with ESPN.
Cartoonist: Erik Kopack
Erik is a senior at Lake Brantley and the cartoonist for his first year on the wonderful staff of the Brantley Banner. At school he is a team captian of the swim team and a president of National Art Honor Society. He hopes to attend to college and major in illustration.
Janna Ossinsky
Janna is currently a sophomore at Brantley. This is her first year on the Banner staff and she plans to continue writing throughout high school. Outside of school, she is a part of Cheer Corp All-Stars, a competitive cheerleading team. In the future, she aspires to be a journalist for a magazine and someday, be the editor of a magazine.
Stephen Stafstrom
Stephen is currently a sophomore and is very excited for his first year on the Banner. His passions include soccer, volleyball, and writing. Stephen participates in Latin Club and the Latin Honor Society. He is also a high academic achiever and currently holds a 4.0 GPA.
Sarah Sullivan
Sarah is currently a sophomore at Brantley. This is her first year on the newspaper staff. Sarah plays lacrosse as well as soccer. In the future, she sees herself writing for the New York Times as a reporter.
Sam Tucker
Sam Tucker is a senior and a first year Banner staff member. At school, he is also involved in the Link Crew freshman mentoring program. In his spare time, he enjoys working on his car and playing the piano. He also spends a lot of time doing community service with his church youth group. Sam hopes to someday fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor.
Valerie Velasquez
This is Valerie's first year on staff. Valerie is the Vice President of the Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) club and a member of various other clubs. Her future plans are to go to college and eventually become a teacher.
Hannah Wade
Hannah is a junior at Brantley. This is her second year on the newspaper staff. Hannah is also involved with cheerleading, National Honor Society, Link Crew, and Key Club. In the future, she plans on pursuing a career in Neonatology.
Vivienne Westerveld
Vivienne is currently a junior and this is her first year on the Banner staff. She is also a member of the Sunshine Club and enjoys reading. Her favorite authors are Stephen King and Dennis Lehane. In the future, she hopes to travel the world and become an entrepreneur.
Gabby Nicholas
This is Gabby's second year on the newspaper staff. In addition to writing for the paper, Gabby is involved in Link Crew, NHS, and the tennis team. Besides writing, Gabby loves to read, and some of her favorite books are Jane Eyre and the Harry Potter series. She is a big fan of movies and TV shows, and a few of her favorites include Monk, Psych, The Office, and the X-Men series. In the future, Gabby hopes to pursue her love of writing and major in Journalism.
